Hi Paul, been doing it for years in my cabaret show; but after 18 episode you’ve finally convinced me to put a drawing duplication into my close-up repertoire. Damn it, should’ve done it years ago! 😉

Because I already do quite a bit of mind-reading (words and numbers) in my close-up it didn’t require a require any major “character development” to work it in. However, in my cabaret there’s a thread that leads up to the drawing-dup, whereas that can’t be conveyed in a table-hopping environment.

But, after a couple of gigs those little subtleties are getting finessed and it’s really starting to be a talking point. It’s odd that the reactions do seem to be a little different too, I’m guessing it’s because it brings in more of the ‘visual’ aspect of mind-reading.

Would it be wrong for me to use me being autistic as a character thing (I really am autistic, and it would explain some of the splinter skills I have developed in real life as well in performance).
