When performing the trick, insert every other card underneath the gimmick allowing them to stick on the sides. The other cards will be held between the gimmick and your hand.

With the flap up, you will hold the card in place with your middle and ring finger. Practice picking up and releasing in a way that the audience will not see the flaps.

Spooky Magic Trick 2 – The Levitating Ring

To score this spooky magic, you will need a pencil, finger ring, black thread and a clear adhesive tape. This spooky magic also works for levitating a pencil.

Here’s how to go about the trick;

Using the adhesive tape, the thread should be attached to the metal part under the eraser.

With the pencil in your hand, connect the other end of the thread to any button of your shirt.

After putting the thread in place, hold the pencil in your hand with the eraser side up.

Then relax the ring into the pencil and let it rest on your hand. Release your hand away from your body and you’ll see the ring rising up as the thread tightens.

To allow the ring descend back into the initial position, draw your hand close to your body.

Ensure you get the length of the thread correctly and the movement of your hand.
